1. Introduction
These Terms of Services (Terms) govern your access to and use the services provided by Forjed ("Forjed", "we", "us", or "our"), including our search engine ("Resulti"), DNS resolver ("DNS" or "Forjed DNS"), file sharing platform ("CD" or "Forjed CD") (Collectively, the "Services").
2. Accepting These Terms
By using or visiting any Services, you accept these Terms. Please refrain from using our Services if you disagree.
3. Who We Are
Forjed is een project zonder rechtspersoonlijkheid dat in Canada is gevestigd. Het project wordt gefinancierd door de eigenaar en donaties, en wordt gedragen door een team van toegewijde vrijwilligers.
4. Using Our Services
Use our Services responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. Do not use them to harm others, break the law, or disrupt the Services for everyone else. Do not attack our infrastructure, and do not overload Resulti or our DNS resolver with automated traffic.
5. Your Account and Your Files
Forjed CD encrypts your files and filenames on your device with AES-256 before they reach our servers, and protects password-secured files with Argon2id. That is true zero-knowledge encryption: we cannot read your files, and we cannot recover them for you. Keep your password safe, because if you lose it the files are gone. Anything you upload stays yours and we claim no rights over it.
5. Privacy
Your privacy is a priority and we take it very seriously as a privacy-focused org. We do not sell your data and we do not track you. See our Privacy Policy, and the policies for Resulti, Forjed DNS and Forjed CD for the details.
6. Leeftijd
Wij raden onze diensten aan voor personen van 16 jaar en ouder. De diensten zijn niet bedoeld voor personen jonger dan 16 jaar in de EU of jonger dan 13 jaar in Canada, en wij verzamelen niet bewust gegevens van minderjarigen. 7. Beschikbaarheid en geen garantie
We doen ons uiterste best om de Diensten beschikbaar, snel en veilig te houden, maar ze worden beheerd door vrijwilligers en aangeboden ‘zoals ze zijn’, zonder enige garantie inzake beschikbaarheid of geschiktheid voor een bepaald doel. De Diensten kunnen worden onderbroken vanwege onderhoud of om redenen buiten onze controle, en we kunnen elke Dienst op elk moment wijzigen, opschorten of stopzetten. We zullen hier een kennisgeving plaatsen zodra dat mogelijk is.
8. Servers en toepasselijk recht
Our server is located in Malmö, Sweden. As such, data stored on our platform is subject to Swedish and EU data protection laws. We comply with the GDPR (European Union), PIPEDA (Canada), and Quebec’s Law 25. Additional local laws may also apply. Attacks against our servers are reported by our hosting provider to the authorities under Swedish and EU law, and legal action may be taken.
9. Wijzigingen in deze voorwaarden
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page, with a (*) next to the link for 14 to 30 days so you notice them. Continuing to use the Services means you accept the current version.
