1. Introduction and About Us

Forjed (The Forjed Project) is a non-profit initiative based in the Greater Montreal area, Quebec, Canada. The project is financed by its owner and donations, and powered by a team of dedicated volunteers.

2. Use of Our Services

By using our services, you agree to use them responsibly, in compliance with all applicable laws, and refrain from engaging in any illegal activities or actions that may disrupt or harm our services or other users.

3. Our Services

3.1 Forjed Cloud (cloud.forjed.xyz)

Forjed Cloud is an open-source, privacy-focused service that provides 18GB of storage to each user. Please use this service responsibly and with care, adhering to our acceptable use policy.

3.1.1 Accounts

By creating an account on any of our services, you agree to use it responsibly and carefully.

3.1.2 Support

3.1.3 Abuse

If we detect abuse or any violation of our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to suspend or delete your account, with or without prior notice.

3.1.4 Age

To use Forjed Cloud, users must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. No actions will be taken on the account unless a responsible individual contacts Forjed Cloud directly. For parents or guardians, please refer to Section 10 for further information regarding account registration and involvement.

-3.2 For Parents

3.2.1 Account Takedown

Parents can request the suspension or deletion of an account owned by individual aged under 13 years old. Requests for individual having +13 will be denied.

-3.3 Laws and Regulation

3.3.1 Forjed’s responsibility

Please be advised that Forjed is not responsible for any content or materials uploaded to our cloud services. Users are solely responsible for the information they store, share, or distribute through our platform. We do not assume liability for any data loss, unauthorized access, or any issues that may arise from the use of our services. We encourage all users to ensure they comply with relevant laws and regulations when using our platform.

5. Servers

Our server is located in Malmö, Sweden. As such, data stored on our platform is subject to Swedish and EU data protection laws.

5.1 Legal

Incidents can be reported to Swedish authorities. Attacks against our servers are reported by our hosting provider to authorities under Swedish/EU laws, and legal action may be taken.

6. Local Law

Forjed complies with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation from EU), and the PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act from Canada), including the Bill 64 (Local regulations of Quebec, Canada, assuming we are based in this province) Additional local laws may also apply.

7. Age

We do not have a specific age, but +13 is recommended to use our services.

8. Do Not Sell My Data

Forjed does not sell your data as we are privacy-focused and anti-tracking. Please refer to our Privacy Policy

9. DMCA

We always take DMCA request very seriously, all DMCA takedown request should be requested at: contact@resulti.org

9.1 False DMCA request

Submitting a false DMCA takedown request will result in all your accounts on Forjed being closed.
