At Forjed, your privacy is our priority. You’ve probably heard the saying, “If you’re not paying for the product, you are the product.” Sadly, it’s true more often than not.
Why?
When a service is free, it usually means the company is making money through your data — often by collecting and selling it, or by showing you targeted ads.
At Forjed, we do things differently. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t display ads. We’re committed to privacy and believe everyone should have access to secure, respectful digital spaces — free of charge. Our mission is to build alternatives to others services that for real respect your privacy.
To keep Forjed alive and growing, we rely on the support of our community. And here’s something cool: we’re planting trees, too! If you’d like to help out by donating just $3 or $4 to support our mission and/or plant a tree, we’d truly appreciate it.
Privacy is a human right, and everyone should have access to privacy without any cost.

Forjed costs around $700 to operate each year.
For now, Forjed is funded by its own members. Donations would help us greatly in continuing the development of our services. These funds would allow us to cover costs for Resulti (such as like API keys) Forjed DNS (to make our DNS server even faster and more reliable), and Forjed CD (for additional storage and speed).
We are planting trees!
We rely on Tree-Nation to plant trees. As explained in the text, just $3–$4 USD (approximately $4–$5.50 CAD) can help plant a tree or two.
Help Forjed register as a non-profit.
In Canada, registering a non-profit can cost between $250 and $400, depending on various factors. This will help us be recognized as an organization, handle legal matters, and join alliances and coalitions as non-profit members. It will also allow us to be partially exempt from taxation, as we will be funded by grants, donations, and future subscriptions.
