After a conversation with Queye, we agreed to create a new coalition aimed at promoting independence on the web from Big Tech. Forjed and Queye are joining forces as founding members to establish this coalition.
The goal of the coalition is to build a new index with our own search results and crawler, while allowing search engines to implement custom ranking algorithms using the same underlying index. Any search engine can apply to join the coalition and access the API.
Starting October 3, 2025, work on the project will begin. If you are interested in joining as a personal volunteer, a form will be available during the weekend of October 3–5, 2025.
The first regions to have their own local search results will be:
- Canada (Country of origin of Resulti)
- Australia (Country of origin of Queye)
- Kazakhstan (Part of Queye’s origin)
- France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Scandinavian countries (Part of Forjed’s interest in the EU)
Canada and Australia’s results will be worked on this weekend.
We’d love to hear from you! Share your ideas, questions, or comments by joining our Discord server or emailing us at contact@resulti.org.
Thank you for reading! We are excited to begin this new journey toward a more independent web.
